Co-Operative Share of Profits Voucher

Hi all

I recently got sent £78 in share of profits vouchers from the co-op, I dont shop at Co-op (I got these vouchers as we booked a holiday for 7 for over £7000 at the co-op travel agents and signed up for the profits card)

IS there anyway I can get these transferred into money rather than vouchers?

If I opened a co-op bank accoutn can I pay the vouchers in?

5.1 Exchanging the vouchers
You can only exchange the vouchers you receive for cash at Co-operative Group Retail Food stores or at branches of The Co-operative Bank.
You must use your vouchers before their expiry date. You should return any out of date vouchers to The Co-operative Membership, PO Box 3801 Coventry CV4 8WY and we will issue replacement vouchers to you.
Vouchers are not accepted at Motor Group (formerly Sunwin Motors).

So that looks like I can go into the shop or bank branch and exchange them?

Now I just need to find my co-op card

I just popped in to my local co-op (Feasgate, York) to exchange my 'share of the profits' vouchers for cash. The terms and conditions state under clause 5.1 that vouchers can be exhanged for cash at co-op food, banks and Brittania.
The Assistant Manager told me that this was not the case and sent me packing.:(
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I do not shop at the co-op, I get my reward points from my Brittania mortgage so now I feel a little stuck and a lot disappointed!

The vouchers can be exchanged for cash in any Co-op store I changed mine just last night .:)

You can also change the way you get paid if you go on the website. I changed mine from vouchers to BACS as I didn't want to spend it in the Co-op. Too late for this time but useful if you plan on using them again.
