Too many loans
Options
I got myself into a position where I had so many loans to pay off other loans that I could not meet the monthly repayments so I went to the CCCS and am in a DMP and have been for a year but the companies are still charging me interest and charges and the CCCS told me to wait as this will eventually stop and after a year my debt has gone up by another £5k or so and I now owe £65k, how long should I wait, what can I do???? Plus I have just gone off on maternity leave and when I do return to work I will have lower income so how the hell am I supposed to pay it off? I have been advised not to have an IVA as I have a debt I owe to my mother and I have also been advised not to go bankrupt as this could affect my job as an accountant (does not look very good that I can get myself into this situation). It's not even all my fault my ex persuaded me to do work on the house and I lost a lot of money on this and we started a business that I funded and I have no way of recovering this money. HELP!
