Amazon.COM

This is prob not the right place but I don't know where else to put it :)

I have been given a voucher for Amazon.COM (not the uk version), now I reckon that it's going to be wayyyyy expensive to actually order a book with the postage costs so anyone have any other ideas of what I could do with it? It's only $25 so not much!
I don't download music, and anyway I'm not sure the files work overseas etc ...

  • As far as I am aware you can't order from the .com site and get things delivered to the UK, I looked into this a few months ago when I was looking for toys for my daughters birthday!

  • I thought you could order from any Amazon you like. My friend got a Wii from the German site when they were all out of stock here a few years back.
I'm not sure about the postage, put some stuff in the basket and see what the options are.

i know you said you wouldn't download music, but what about an audio book maybe? all of the files are the same the world over for anything like that.

Maybe try looking at the marketplace items from individual sellers, rather than amazon its self, if you struggle to get the postage charges sorted.

Just try logging into the UK site and adding the gift code.. might be surprised and the uk site might accept it. Worth a go!
