....for all of your good advice! I've just come off the phone to CCCS, and lady was very impressed with my budget  Said there was no where else I could cut back - and that my food budget was too low for a family of 5(I had given 350 which I'm hoping to reduce substantially - apparently government guidelines is 400-450! )
Soooo, she said it was very borderline whether I needed to go on DMP or not (on her budget we are about 100 short of meeting all our creditors demands - I'm sure with care I can sort that out) - so I'm going to give it a miss and continue with my snowball plan. She is sending me through a revised budget which will help give me a better idea of budgeting for car/home maintenance, as well as chirstmas/prezzies etc, and also some advice on how to tidy up our credit history, as apparently we can get rid of the black marks against things we've paid off, which I didn't realise
So, all good stuff - and all thanks to the kind folks on here. I have a DFD goal to work towards, have conviced hubby to hand over the financial reins to me(!) and am feeling really positive about it all, although I know it will be a long haul - it'll be well worth it in the end!
THANK YOU! :T
