Mods please move if in wrong bit, but this is the only home thread i could find!
I watched christmas for a pound the other day (i think it was a tonight trever mcdonald one)
there was a family on there who always go high end with christmas, anyway in the background they had a really dark wooden tv cabinet that was kind of oval shape, looked almost upside down.
For a year no we have hunted for a cabinet that is high enough that we both love. This one fits the bill, yet i have searched all over the internet and cant find it!
did anyone recognise it
, or have one and can tell me what its called and where they got it from?
PLEASE!!!
Thankyou x

doodle, I think the lady that was on the show is a member of MSE. I recall a thread, I think on Old style where she posted, may be worthwhile asking her? It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Hi DoodleDoodle!!
Sorry, only just seen this message, I don't seem to be getting my updates on email xx
The tv cabinet was actually off ebay (i love my bargains!!), although when I got it home and was giving it a clean and a few repairs I found a tag inside the drawer slots that said it's The Cotswalds Company furniture (www.cotwaldsco.com). I will confess to getting a good deal on it at £60 but it did need some major repair work and filler but the repair job only cost a few pounds with some tinted wood filler from B&Q and a bit of acrylic paint. It's sheesham wood which tends to be quite expensive, but I have quite a few sheesham items in the living room which were briefly shown on the programme (the bookcase I got from ebay for £15 and the nest of table for £8:50) but you just have to be willing to travel to get the deals (items in south wales and scotland seem to go the cheapest, balance out the fuel before bidding in my advice xx).
Hope that helps feel free to pm me
Happy Christmas and New Year to all the MS's out there
