large pork leg in slow cooker?

Hi all

Have read some of the slow cooker posts, but have a specific.

I am going to cook a 3kg leg of pork tommorrow, to serve at 5pm.

I would love to do this in the slow cooker, can I?

If so what are the cooking times? Plus, water or no water?

Any help?

Thanks
Vader

Pork in the SC is lovely. I put it in with an inch or so of boiling water, smother the skin with salt and cook on medium for about 8 hours and then pop in oven for around 20 mins to get perfect crackling.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.
