Ooooo, I've just checked my Ebay account and one item is up to £25 and it doesn't end until 8pm tonight - on the other hand, other item not been bid on yet and has one watcher so it may go for 99p which will put me into negative figures as I forgot about free P&P in my haste to list it

2 more items are ending tomorrow night, so hopefully will have reached the £50 mark then. I do still want to try and list more items - I've got the bug for this now.

Oh, by the way, I just had an email from Amazon - they have lots of DVDs available for pre-order at under £10 - the Gruffalo is on there for £6.98 with the release date as 22nd March if anybody else's kids enjoyed it at Christmas! ;)

what about free p&p???? does it cost you more to have higher p&p or...?

anyway i managed to list 3 canvases online at last. my first ever listing! im not expecting much to happen with them to be honest but it should be interesting to see.

account and bank still havent connected but i only tried saturday and it does say 3 working days...however i added the wrong branch address, the address i used is a real one, same bank etc but not the branch i set the account up in...do you think this matters? i cant find the bit where you change addresses etc and i dont want to remove and then add again incase it is connecting and im being impatient lol. only time will tell

still reviewing. running out of things to review though now lol and anything i know loads about its on the site! how can they have items which link to amazon etc but not have those items in the dooyoo catalogue??? doesnt make sense to me.

gonna get mum to bring up all my old stuff from home which i had already sorted for ebay-ing over a year ago and also bring up the big box of books so i can put them on green metropolis.

    sigh...lets get to it!

Hi, the free P&P seems to apply to things that weigh 1.5kg or less - so books, CDs, DVDs etc - people used to charge a bit extra on P&P to try and bump the price that they got up, but now if you are selling these items you have to offer free P&P iyswim.

What I did was list my items, forgetting about the free P&P and had my starting price at 99p or buy-it-now for x amount. The item I have has not yet been bid on, but there is somebody watching it, so if they throw in a last minute bid (many people wait until the last few seconds to try and get their bid to win) the item will sell for 99p, then I will have around £2.50 ish to pay for postage making my profit be -£1.51 without fees included for Ebay and Paypal - it's my own fault but it is a bit frustrating, I have reduced the buy-it-now price to £5 but the watcher isn't taking the bait .

At least I know the watch out for this next time! :o

We aren't allowed to make a list as it is against the site rules.
    4070 mile is worth £4.07.
Of course you aren't to late for the challenge. Everyone is welcome here.

    hello and welcome newbies!

I'm nearly on 10'000 for dooyoo. It's addictive when you get closer to the payout mark. I will definitely make £20 this month. eBay doing well, got 14 watchers on a number 7 set from Boots which was a free gift and already has 3 bids. Already made my £50 on eBay.

Who has already managed their challenges? Either £20 dooyoo or £50 eBay?

Tell me in RED so that I can see easily!

Just to clarify things on my Dooyoo front

Remember? They took some points off me? Well i sent an email and asked why and what was the review it happened with.

If you get a rating, not useful, its flagged and they read it and if its rubbish they delete it and take your point (500) away.

I had 4 so they took 2000 away, funnily enough, 4 of my reviews were over 800 words so it was probably them. Now i keep them about 400 and try not to say the products name.

Because if its said too often they dont count towards 150 points.

The other thing is I rated someones review, a newbie not on here at somewhat useful, they reported me to dooyoo and they actually told me i couldnt have read it in 2 minutes 39 seconds. So they do time how long you take to read it.

I do read fast and i remember reading it and thinking what a load of rubbish so i didnt want to rate it not useful so i put somewhat useful. I thought it suppose to me my opinion, but not wanting to rock the boat from now on they`ll all be useful. I expect that`ll be wrong n all

If anyone wants to pm me i`ll rate yours, lol

I didn't realise they timed how long it took you to read it, I admit although I usually read them properly, I have skimmed a few. I think you can get the gist of it without having to study every word. Anyway, I would have thought 2 1/2 minutes was plenty of time to read the review properly!
