In 2010 I would like money left at the end the month rather than more month left at the end of the money!!

Hi I have been lurking around on MSE for a year or so but this is the firsst time I have had teh internet at home in the new year so can I please join you?

My name is Bec, I am 29 and been married for 4 months.

We would like to have a baby this year but would like to get a few things straight first!

I would like to try to make £25 in January. I have some clothes that no longer fit me and also some bits left over from my wedding so going to put them on ebay.

I have aready bought all my cards and paper for next Christmas, cost me £3 in teh sales and I will make tags from this year's cards.

I really think this thread will help me/us to start to get to where we want to be!
One fine day I will be slim and debt free!!

    Hi,

My name is Lucy and I am 29, this year I aim to earn what money on the net I can with reviews etc., I am also going to start seriously looking for a job (hopefully not cutting down my internet time too much when I do get one lol).

I would like to do the dooyoo challenge as I signed up last year but never really used it and I think that with people who I can chat to on MSE then it will help me get into it and understand it :).

Thanks and let's hope 2010 is a financially better year for all :)

Thank you to everyone who has rated my reviews. I will repay the favour and go through all yours asap. My doyoo total is 6415. Long way to go but great incentive.

    Hi all,

Have been in hibernation over Christmas/New Year as always - i love it! Hope you all had a great time and happy new year to all.

It does mean though that I am trawling through many pages of posts to catch up with myself. I'd like to join January's challenge please - will go for £20 either from dooyoo or from making savings. Need to ebay at some point but can't get head round it this month, couple of big things on that I need to focus on. Am not on dooyoo yet but will go and have a look and let you know if I sign up to get my name added to the list. otherwise I will try and save myself £20 and put it in a pot.

Really looking forward to this thread, determined to get money in order this year so hopefully will be participating fully:T

Thanks for the information cheap_charlie. I had no idea this was "against the rules". Surely as long as the reviews are good quality then it is OK? Lots of people have on their profile that they "will rate in return" - is that not against site rules (not directing this at you either!).

I expect we can all edit our posts to remove the information from this thread as it was posted in genuine error. If you have dooyoo user names posted on here, please edit your posts to remove them as this thread does not encourage 'breaking the rules'. I would be grateful if you could do the same cheap_charlie.

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
