Oh I'm excited for you Nickybo. I keep looking at houses, have no intention of moving but one day I may see a house I really really like and might jump in! (doubt it though)

Well done on crown of the day elysia2003 :)

Did my first ever focus group today and made a profit of £34 as I had to travel to London and so had to pay train fare. the group was only 90 minutes though so had a day out in London all on my lonesome :) I think when the kids go to their dads tomorrow I might buy some xmas pressies with it as I have saw a few things in HB that the kids liked.

It makes you think that 90 minutes for that much against the hours and hours and hours I spent on dooyoo to try and get £50!

havent really done any other money making lately I am a bit put off with dooyoo now but am £22 away from a cheque, so may do some this weekend.

had 75p VO and 80pts LS today, havent checked onepoll yet

EXCELLENT!! What a great win :T

We've heard back about the house - our 2nd offer has been accepted!! I'm so excited, we've been wanting to move for over 2 years. I'm keeping everything crossed that it all runs smoothly and that we can possibly move during the summer holidays.

My 2nd bit of good news - I recently found out I have been under the wrong tax code since I started working at my current job. It's always been the same so I didn't think to query it until it changed in April. I was worried I was suddenly not paying enough and I didn't want to be sent a bill for the extra so I phoned them and it turns out I've been paying too much tax for the last 5 years! It's within the time frame to still claim it back, so I should get a nice sum being paid back quite soon :)

I'm doing Race for Life today, hope it stays nice and sunny. Thank you so much to the people who have sponsored me - I'll let you know how I go on!

Oh Nicky I'm so pleased for you. :j On both counts - the house and the tax.

My dad had been paying the wrong tax for years too, he got a whopping amount back. This was about 15 years ago so the tax amount has changed but the timeframe was the same. Fingers crossed you get back the same amount as him.

Good luck with the race for life, as I said before, take plenty of tissues.

Well done on your Focus group Pammy. I've been invited to them before but it was one about banking, and I'd rather watch paint dry. What was yours about?

Keep going with dooyoo. I only rate the people who rated me now or the few people who are in my circle. Where I used to be on dooyoo for hours on end, I probably do an hour a day and that's only if I've written a review. I cut it back a lot as I got fed up wih it all just like you, and the reduced payment doesn't help either.
