Well done everyone on the challenges this month, your all doing a lot better than me.

I'm still waiting to be able to cash in my £50 cheque from DooYoo - I seem to have lost a few points. Have written another review this morning and will do a couple more when hubby goes to the football later.
so its peace and quiet time!!

I've got my shopping.com reviews up to 23 this morning so want to do as many of those as I can this afternoon.

I looked on the local college website for false nails and they charge £25 , I've only payed £20 at my local salon!! So don't think i'll be going for that, but I am doing a make up course and we have to practise on each other so technically I get a free make over each week even if I do wash it off as soon as I get home.

    |Without sounding tightwad, that is unbelievable, you'd think the coleege would be cheaper than normal salons esp as its students... the idea is they learn,
I love the sound of the make up course, can you move nearer to me I'd volunteer to be your model xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Your not that far away from me, the course is at Walsall college and your signature says your Shropshire

Some of the treatments are cheaper, especially the hairdressing ones so i'm not sure why the nails cost more

Nice to hear from you Jamtart - hope you are well - keep popping in to let us know how you are doing :D

Thank you everybody for your nice messages about my new job - I did find it all a bit daunting as I haven't done an application form or interview for 15 years when I started my last job! I have now been out of work since December 2004 when I went on my career break (then never went back lol!), so it has been a while.

Good luck Elysia and Mum2One with your ventures - years ago I never saw myself working with children, but things change... good idea about the bottle of wine though :rotfl:

Right, off to get some tea now! (DH has made it :T)
Thrifty Gifty February make £20 challenge £21.05/£20.

Have you noticed that we can now see how many times members have thanked others. Mum2one you have thanked over 30,000 times  elyphant none lolQUOTE]

:o:o:o oh dear [hangs head in shame]!!! I never have quite got into the whole thanks button thing, not sure I even know where it is!!:o:o:o

Tell you what, how about this instead (not convinced I will get into the thanks-button-pressing habit ;)):

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

    (will that do it?)

PS - thank you to Elysia, have joined Butlins Bingo and doing the free scratchcard and then playing the winnings on the slots, have won £12 already. OK, so I had to pay £10 deposit when I joined, but even still, that's £2 more than I had before.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, it was lovely and sunny here and very exciting my niece's first birthday!!! Now it's Monday again though...
