Excellent work Savvybunny - what great savings you've made!

Thanks Elysia for survey site - I've just actually unsubscribed from Valued opinions because I kept getting screened out after around 15-20mins of questions - think I only ever got around 75p from them - I musn't be in their target profile :(.

Oh well, I still have a few others to keep me occupied.

Keep up the good work everyone :T

    Xmas Saver!
We did a table top sale today, dad came and unloaded for me, then went home to see to Bailey, thou I'm sure he managed a quick flick through the paper!! nice start. didn't need to get there to 11am, after paying £6.00 for the table,we made the grand profit of £5.00. DD stayed with me after 10 mins all I got was I'm bored....... why didn't you bring the ds.......YOU NEVER PACKED IT!!

But dad was nice as he took us to the pub for belated lunch, so we both had steak and chips, (2 for £10),dd had kids roast, it was massive, she 4 slices Roast beef, 4 roast potatoes, mash, 3 veg, yorkshire pudding, + sausage and bacon, hers was £3.25, looked more like an adults meal...

Shame about the stall Mum2one. I am thinking this would happen to me if I can get a stall later in the year. Havent got the foggiest idea where to have it anyway as the boot fairs finish way before Christmas and I dont know of any local schools who do Xmas fairs round here.

Had another £10 Amazon voucher this morning this time from Quanti so I have £30 in the kitty now. Not sure what to put it against yet as was going to get Dad a digi photo frame for Xmas but he is buying himself one now, Might put it towards more dvds for OH.

Hi peeps, can I join in please?

Very important that I try to rack up some cash and savings for Christmas this year. My new years resolution this year was really to try to sort out my finances and although they're still poor, I'm definately improving my habits and an old debt will be paid back in full soon :D

I registered for DooYoo last night and have done 5 reviews already - currently have 2800 points. Going to try to do 5 everyday - we'll see how long it lasts for! If anyone wants to add me to Circle of Friends, pm me for my username (or can I post it here?)

I'm thinking of going through my stuff and ebaying - but I doubt I'll get much. What's the best way to sell clothes? In bulk lots?

Savvybunny that's amazing!!! I hope to be in that sort of position one magical year in the future!

Doing better than usual though, feel like I might manage to be quite moneyneutral this year. Just got my bro's birthday presents in the play.com sale - got him Burn After Reading adn Inglourious Basterds DVDs, both pretty new, but came in at £8.96 altogether, free delivery, really chuffed with that.

Off to do some rating on Dooyoo in a bit, determined not to lose momentum on that.

Shame about the stall mum2one. I have a pile of stuff to be somehow 'got rid of' and can't quite decide what to do with it yet - ebay seems to much hassle, and then table top sales like that sometimes you just don't do so well. So just piled up in the corner for now. Think i'll have a hunt on here, sure there's guides to ebay etc.

Hi Helsieboo welcome to the thread, it is fantastic. I am on dooyoo with this same name so if you wnat to add me I'll do my best to rate you!

Managed to do 2 dooyoo reviews, wanted to do more but got sidetracked with the tesco extra points bonanza that started today lol. Spent £39 on 8 cds and got £94 in deals for it and hopefully will sell them for about £20 if not more so it will end up £20 for £94 :)
Spending £39 on stuff I didnt need was very out of character for me considering my frugal living to be mortgage free but I couldnt resist.

Well better get rating on dooyoo for those received today, spent 2 hours writing the reviews this morning, its quite time consuming isnt it?

Just found out today that I have to spend £45 to become a member of the certified bookkeepers and I have to redo the first exam as they only hold the exam for 2 years and I did it in dec 07  so thats another £25 to redo that. I am so annoyed at that, what a ripoff!

Oh what a shame about having to repay Pammy. I'm not surprised your annoyed! I didn't know there was a special offer on at Tesco's I'm off for a look.

Edited to add: Instore only and our Tesco is miles away so I think i'll give this one a miss. Shame - there's a couple I wanted too!
