MYSTERY SHOPPING THREAD XII - ** New people please read posts 1 & 2 **

so did anyone manage to get the phone calls and have them booked for another day? I couldnt select any due to the date not being highlighted on the screen and now they do not show for me so I presume they were another error. did manage to get a released italian bros foodie visit for tonight. but i am at home with a stomach bug - I have asked if it can be rescheduled but does anyone know if this is likely?

Also when it comes to RE rules and meals for 2 adults (without alcohol) can anyone tell me if my son who is 17 this year will count as an adult in their eyes? In my head he is and he definitely will eat an adults share (and more!) but I wondered if they have some strange stipulation. I have asked them for clarification but not heard anything from them.

My partner works away a lot so would be good to be able to take meals when hes away that I can go to with my son instead. Would be a treat as we get a bit bored when we are stuck at home just the two of us all week as family are 100s of miles away.Keep trying to find movie visits and the like for mid week times as well but I only seem to see these sorts of treats for weekends when partner is home again. If anyone knows of different companies that might have some work that would be ideal please let me know

I agree with HP that RE have always had IT problems. I would seriously like to know who does there IT. If it is an outside company as I certainly wouldn’t use them or just someone that doesn’t know very much.

As far as I know it is their own internal IT people. As you say I wouldn't use them.

Hi All,

I have a dine in chicken job on Friday for Gap and was wondering if I can take someone with me? Obv we would pay separately so as to not affect the service timings but I can't see anything on the assignment notes to say if it has to be done alone or not?

I'm sure it says somewhere on the assignment paperwork that chicken jobs have to be done alone?

I've done them before and taken the family. Hubby goes in first with the kids, orders theirs, then I walk in a bit harassed 5 mins later, saying "Phew, made it at last" and order mine. Always been paid!

I've also been in with my daughter, got her meal, then gone back to the counter and said "Oh I'm so daft, I forgot to order my own food!" and they haven't batted an eyelid!!

I've done drive throughs with another person, but not dine ins. They're definitely not as strict as the burgers, but I wouldn't be confident about it! Maybe also check the orientation booklets as well as the notes?

I have done this on chicken jobs too, DH & DS go first then I come in 5 minutes after or vice versa. Never had a problem with payments. I wouldn't risk it with burger jobs though, they check the cameras especially if part of the report was negative!
