"Deep" Double fitted sheets - do they exist.

Options
Hello;

Have bought a new mattress which is a lot deeper than my old one - and my fitted sheets don't fit as the sides are too deep and they keep popping off.

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells deeper sheets. I'm after a double in a chocolate colour.

Have tried googling but only get bespoke sheet makers at stupid prices.

Thanks

Amy

I got mine from ikea - they were just normal ones but was told they come up big and they were fine.

    Dreams.

My bed has a REALLY thick mattress. When I bought the bed, I bought their bedding too, as I knew it would be hard to get sheets to fit.

    Plus its Egyptian cotton too.

I use valanced sheets to get around the problem - I find they're often a bit deeper in the 'sheet bit' anyway, and the valance takes care of anything that wouldn't be covered otherwise.

You could always tuck the valance under if you don't like the look.

    Hi

I bought some flannellete ones from JD Williams, they also had plain cotton ones aswell, we have a very deep matress and have a topper on and the sheets fit perfectly.

im sure Ive seen a device somewhere which you can use to secure the sheet in place. you could use this on your existing sheets so you dont have to replace them.

it is like a long length of braces elastic with a braces clip at each end - so you run the length of elastic underneath the mattress and clip to sheet on each side - prevents it from coming loose.
anyone know what I mean??? or did I just dream it!
  • woulld a larger sheet fit? ie, get a king size sheet for double bed..

Dunelm Mill. They have a range of different colours in the deep base ones. I always get mine from there.:D
