Why Cant I Get a Loan?

dont think i would go that far. lol i wont be in the £11,000 job for long. i just started applying for graduate jobs which start at £37,000 hopefully wont be too long till im in proper employment.
If i dont get the loan now, its no biggie. i was just wondering why i never.
I'm going to china in a months time with my family for a month (use the rest of my holidays from this year) i can just go to japan when i get a proper job but i would have liked to go sooner. not the end of the world though lol0 -
You also need to stop applying for credit, more than 3 searches in 6 months affects the rating, and you've had 4 in three months.
I really don't think a holiday is a good enough reason to get into debt for, save up first and then go, you'll enjoy it much more and wont have that sick sinking feeling when you get back and look at your bank statements.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
lots of reasons you would be declined:
You already have a high number of credit agreements
Your monthly debt payments versus salary will make creditors nervous
The amount of debt you already have versus your annual salary
You don't own your own home
You won't have been in your job very long
The number of credit searches in the last 6 months
A loan for a holiday is a really bad idea, to be honest it sounds as if you are already on the slippery slope to getting in over your head."Stay Wonky":D

the problem is you don't have enough debt. definitely borrow another £5k on credit cards so they know you understand how to be in more debt than you can cope with0

Why not save up for the holiday and go a little bit later? Probably be a better trip knowing that you are not in more debt over it!0

Hate to sound like a misery guts but I would put the holiday on hold till you have your graduate job. Not sure what you studied at uni but some sectors are a nightmare to get into these days given the credit crunch. If you have a nice fat salary I'm sure the banks will change their tune!TRYING VERY HARD TO START SAVING!

Honestly, I would suggest you save the extra money you have as you are not paying rent etc and use that to pay off your car loan early. At £230pm on a loan of over £12k then you have maybe a 7 year loan - in that time you could easily find the loan troublesome if you are unable to get/keep these £37k graduate jobs. I'm sure there are people who have been made redundant from jobs like those who graduated a few years ago and didn't plan to be redundant now.
Just a thought.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0
