I've been given a block of "Crisp n dry" - what can I do with it?
Is it the same as lard and therefore be used in bread making or not?
We don't deep fry things here, infact we hardly fry anything as I prefer to grill stuff. Any ideas please?

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

I think it's meant to be used like lard but is a vegetable product. I imagine it'd be good in pastry and general baking. Not sure about bread but it's worth a go!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

i think it does say on the packet what you can use it for.
My first thought like GR is to go for making pastry with it:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
