Central heating won't work Grr

Options
I went to switch my central heating on and it's not working (typical)

I don't suppose anyone would have an idea of what could be wrong please?

I have a gas fire and back boiler. The control switch is in the bedroom, there are two buttons that can be pressed for either heating or hot water to come on for an hour, there's also more controls under a drop down panel where you can alter the timings.

I pressed the button for ch but nothing happened, the water is working fine so any ideas anyone?

It's likely to be the motorised valve(s), room thermostat or the timer itself (not so likely). Searching this forum will reveal all I expect.
