Payday on a Sunday-when should we get paid?

Hi all,
I've never posted on this part of the site before, but hope someone can help.
As the title says really, I get paid directly into the bank. If payday falls on a Sunday, when should the pay go in? Are there 'rules' on this or is it just up to the employer?
Thanks!

Tbh I don't know the answer to this, all I can tell you is I get paid on 23rd of each month and if this falls on either a Saturday or a Sunday then our money goes in the bank on the Friday so we get paid 1 or 2 days earlier. I'm sure someon else will be along soon to give you the definative on this though.Banana LoversBuy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning0

Should be Friday as if they don't pay you until Monday then they will have witheld your money (technically) which they can't do.GC Jan £318/£350, Feb £221.84/£300, Mar £200.00/£250 Apr £201.05/£200 May £199.61/£200 June £17.25/£200

Thanks to you both for your replies.
I've just spoken to our payroll department and they said we'll be paid on Mon! I'm really not very happy about it.
