Unsesuredloancompany
I have read some posts on here regarding the unsecuredloan company [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]. I applied for a loan with them, and i was asked to make a payment of £44 (this differs depending on how much you want to borrow) they say that you dont have to pay unless the application has definitaley been approved which mine apparently had. They even said they had done a credit check and i was approved. I questioned this as i am always doubtful about this type of company. They said that the only way that the application would be declined if is i had not been truthful on the appliction which i had been. I informed them that i was a recently discharged bankrupt and had one outstanding debt for £200. They assured me that the money would be in my account within the next 3-5 days. I questioned this as they didnt have my account details, and was advised that the lender would take these details from me when they contact me to arrange repayment. I still wasnt convinced so i contacted them a further 2 times and spoke with 2 other people who told me the same thing. I even mentioned that when they give you a log in reference for their website it shows in the details that the loan has been approved in principle, and when i mentioned this i was told that it just says that and that i have definately been accepted for the loan.I foolishly paid the money but i was advised that i would get a refund and being the person i am i was also sure i would get it, but still quite doubtful i contacted their customer services the following day. I was then advised that it wasnt definate that i would get the loan. I informed them what i had been told, and they said they would listen to the call as i should not have been told this. I outlined that i had read on this site that many people had been told the same thing so they must be told to say this. Customer services were quite helpful and rang me back when they said they would and offered to deal with my refund personally if i didnt get the loan. They said that i would be contacted by a lender in the next couple of days however i explained that i didnt have a couple of days to wait as i felt due to my circumstances i would be declined and didnt want to waste time so they put me through straight away to one of their lenders. Surprise Surprise i was declined. I told the lender that the Unsecuredloancompany had said and the oan was definately approved but the lender said they would not be able to give decision and they are not able to do a credit check either.
[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] Being approved in principle does not mean you will get the loan. If you do pay them and you do not recieve your loan contact customer services on 08443445777 and demand the refund be done immediately as they are able to do this despite them saying it takes some time. [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] If anyone has a similar storey please let us all know!!

There is tons of them on this thread. Loan brokers that take advantage I think.0

The OP may want to break the post down into paragraphs, it's not very easy on the eye at the moment.0

I still think there should be a template for these posts.
They are Soooooooo common it would make it simple if new posters could select the template and click okay.
Save us wading through the same old story, most of which are barely readable.0 -
[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] How about teaching people never to pay an upfront fee for something hey havent got.0

Do NOT PAY an up front fee..
If you have already done so because you have been told the loan has been approved , then find out it has been rejected.
Use the 14 day cancellation option.
You really do have to act fast here
contact them immediately by registered post asking for a refund as you no longer require their services.
Stand your ground on this and the most they can charge is approx £6 and some pence admin fee, but be prepared for a fight and be prepared to forward your complaint to the the Financial Obudsman if they FAFF you about.0
