Yep - I know this may sound decadent, however I want a real treat for my lovely hubby! So any feedback would be appreciated as there seems to be such a wide range of prices. I am a techno novice as hubby usually sorts out this stuff. I would like prob 13/15 inch.
Which one? what price? what size? what to stay clear of?
Thanks in advance.

Jeez how long does he spend in there?
Most people are satisfied with a newspaper...
Not only is a newspaper normally adequate entertainment when one is on the khazi it also gives added insurance if you discover you have been left with the last piece of tissue on the roll...
Somehow I don't think a 15" Sony would be fit for purpose?0 -
A tv in the bathroom is not a good idea for 2 reasons
1) unless securely mounted well out of reach from the bath/sink/toilet there is a very real risk of electrocution,
2) moist atmospheres will not do the circuit boards any good
why not just get him a battery operated radio(unless there is an ulterior motive):eek:I

A television in the bathroom? Where would you plug it in? I haven't seen many bathrooms with electricity power points, other than a shaver point.

If you did have a power point, how would you protect the tv from water damage from the shower/bath steam and condensation?
I'll watch this thread with interest...............to see if the OP is actually serious.;)10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -
There are companies who specialise in such items, here's just one I found :

If you take too long you'll find the poop sticks to your bum, making it difficult to clean.0

OP, I looked into this when I was refurbing our bathroom. They are seriously pricey bits of kit. £1k upwards for a quality make and spec. I had to give up on the idea as the budget just wouldn't stretch but it's still on my wish list if I ever win the lottery.
Environvision, Aquavision and TileVision were the mains ones touted to me but there are a fair few on the market now.

Apologies not been back, work beckond - have giggled at some of the reply's - fair comment !!! Well yes we have a radio - however this is the only time he will 'destress' when in the bath...... Anyway I have my SIL on the case. Yes a huge treat for us in our new pad - but £1000 is a step much too far. Thank you for your comments.0

I don't know if DIY SOS have a website saying where they get everything, but they have installed more than one bathroom TV.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I bought mine on Ebay, mind you unless you're having your bathroom refitted as I was, it will be more trouble than it's worth. Mine needed my builder to build a small false wall so that it could be mounted, and then all the wires had to be run behind the wall to a socket outside of the bathroom.
Mind you he was doing that for the jacuzzi anyway so that was ok for me. :rotfl:
Well the moneysaving is paying off so I'm living a lifestyle much better than I should be able to afford...
Hope hubby enjoys it.:p0
