I make cards & more recently jewellery, and hubby makes wooden and plastic pens, perfume pens, and other wooden/plastic bits and bobs. Hopefully, he's gonna make me some beads with his plastic stuff.
I'm only just starting and I do it in my spare time, which I haven't got much of with 2 kids and a ft job... :rotfl: but I'd like to get into it a bit more... waiting on some beads to be delivered as I type!
I've already sold a few things at car boot sales, but it's not the best place for it!!!! Hubby has had loads of interest in his pens and other things...

There's only a few pics of what I make, have more at home which I haven't photographed yet!

Looks like Cultra is going to be a total MSE event, maybe we should all go out on Saturday night! I am in the Mourne Room, in the Courtyard, don't know where that is though! Haven't got my details in from Sandra yet.

Hello All - me again

My mad mate who likes to dabble in all things crafty from time to time, is now dabbling in jewellery, and recently bought what she was told was Tibetan silver. When it arrived she thought it felt a bit plastic. So, she tried to bend it and it snapped clean in half. Now logic tells her that metal should bend not snap. And the inside is a grey putty type colour. Does anyone know anything about Tibetan silver and if this is normal, or has she been sold a dud?

Hi folks you probably all thought I'd given up by now, if you'd thought at all that is!!!!!! Just been busy with hubby's new shop and my new granddaughter!. Yes I know I'm too young but there you have it!! Am trying to find a source for cardboard presentation boxes for jewellery, about 6 inches square and not having much success. Have tried ebay but they are quite dear...anybody have a source they would like to share???? Will be at some fairs around Christmas and catch up then. Thanks all!!!!
