Have just tried to send my cheque for Rose Week to Belfast City Council - the letter they sent me has NO ADDRESS on it - can you believe it, from the council!!!!!!

Belle, will you trust me to come to your Christmas event, I am really sorry I missed the one at the weekend, but please pm me your address so that I can send my stall fee anyway!

What we say on the craft fair forum is usually to do with craft fairs!!
When we dont we get scolded by our very lovely Arkonite Babe(who IMO does a great job, or even the starter of the thread Supermum!!

We support charities and applaud those who work hard at raising much needed funds, which has probably been the banter over this past couple of weeks.....Belle (:A)orgainsed a fantastic fair for Mencap at the weekend and I see your from Co Down, the Down Recorder and Mourne Observer both came to this event and took pictures, maybe you will see what she has done, and why it was so widely supported on this forum!!

We post to see who is going to what fair as sometimes they can be daunting esp when your just starting out:o

We have a laugh at those who are "fashionably" late (thats always me)

We advise each other on which fairs are good, poor or even downright awful.

Its like a wee community, I have met most of the crafters on this forum and always like meeting new crafters!! I always welcome newbys (cause i was one once) and honestly I have been given so much well valued advice on here it is moneysaving!!

We had a great time on Saturday at Belle's great fair for Mencap where we were treated so well by her.
Belle hope you made lots and lots of money for such a deserving charity.
We would love to come back again in December if you can fit us in.

dave yes all the banter is necessary!! this site is fantastic for getting information on fairs/events (past and future) there are a lot of people which have been using this site for quite a few years now and are very helpful for newbies like myself, they give everyone great advice on wether some of the fairs are worth while trying or not and which ones to avoid!

i can honestly say that my diary would not be as full as it has been this year if it wasnt for this site, all the fairs have really helped me to advertise my new business and get new customers

and its lovely to go the fairs and meet the people on here, wheres is the harm in the extra chat???
