hi fi it was nice to meet you and your dad today at mountstewart. There was a very big crowd there and
met some lovely crafters. Drinking some tea out of a china cup and saucer which I purchased from a lady selling vintage china. All I need now is the scone with jam and cream!

Today, was lots better although im wrecked!! :(
Took the kids to see their Dad, and they had a good day!
Then was suppossed to go to cemetary sunday (as its my Grans first)....but we stayed a bit longer than i had intended to at the hospital (but i know she would rather I had spent family time with the kids and kept them happy)!!
It has cost me so much money today....but worth it to see the kids giving their dad his gifts!! :D

I have NO craft work done for any fairs!!

I really am shattered tho.....Never felt tiredness like it!! :(

Glad today went well Sinead and hope you get a bit more stress free time now - you need it! Today was really good - last minute invite to fair with Faireire at Boyne Valley hotel in Drogheda. Such a scorcher of a day and was outside in the amazingly gorgeous grounds with BBQ, bouncy castle and live music (really good live music too!!) Lots of folk milling about, eating and drinking but not really buying although I did surprisingly well - partly down to the dreaded vuvuzelas which sold out completely! Came home very happy all in all thanks Scott!!
Life's a box of beads - rainbow coloured and full of surprises!:D

Oh no Fi, after your false alarm last weekend too! I know how awful it is you feel physically sick how much in value did you lose? Have sent paypal btw let me know when it lands. I get a bit complacent at fairs as mostly everyone is so honest but it just goes to show we have to be on our guard - no fag breaks for me then!!

Hello crafty folk! Looks as if you have all had a lot going on this weekend with mixed successes...but at least it was sunny, which I hope helped keep the spirits up!

A HUGE thankyou to everyone who sponsored me for my moonlight walk on Friday night - you will be pleased (and amazed!!) to hear that I finished the walk in 2 hours 46 which for 10 miles I thought was a pretty champion effort! Sadly the person who I was meant to walk with dropped out last week, so I went on my own and the first people I bumped in to were a group of ladies who are repeat customers of mine at fairs, buying knitting needles and wool!!!! So it just goes to show that all in all the fairs and this forum are well worth the effort and we have all made some really good friends by doing it! Anyway, set off with my friends but by the time we reached the train station I realised I had lost them!! Ended up walking the rest of the route alone. The last 3 miles up the NEwtownards Road was so difficult, but we were spurred on by a sweetie station, then the firemen from the local station cheering us on (I was tempted to linger at that stop a bit too long LOL!!), then the staff from Horatio Todds at Ballyhack clapped us on too, so that really helped. So far I have raised £150 plus gift aid on top of that, which is fantastic, and I couldnt have done it without you all - pics to follow on facebook!!!

    Thanks again friends :-)
Im knitty, Im nutty, but I dont know anyone called Nora. :p

Well done supermum! Under 3 hours and on your own - totally brilliant!!!

We did Ballyhackamore on Sat - it was OK for me, but one girl from Bangor only lifter £6 and the table cost her £10 so she left a bit upset, hopefully this weekend will be better, it is the end of the month and peoples pays will be in the bank so hopefully they will Spend, Spend, Spend!!!!!

Shoplifters are the pits - how sad do you need to be to steal at a Craft Fair!

Better sign off now before I burn the scones.
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
