    regular updates and accommodation information.
    LOCATION
The fishing village of Clogherhead is located on the east coast of Ireland in the County of Louth, approximately 70km north of Dublin. The headland affords uninterrupted views of the Cooley and Mourne Mountains 30km to the north and to Lambay Island 35km to the south. It is a preferred location for all types of activities including, fishing, walking, sightseeing and water based activities. The village is in close proximity to the historic town of Drogheda, the Boyne Valley and Newgrange Heritage site. It is an excellent location for a weekend break or a longer holiday for touring the many other attractions of the county. The village developed around the fishing industry with the waters of Clogherhead reputed as being the best fishing waters in the country. The harbour, known as Port Oriel was built in 1885. It was extensively enlarged and re-opened in 2007.

    SET UP FOR TRADERS
    Crafters
There will be 12, 3mx3m, marquees exclusively devoted to arts and crafts. This will be located on the pier at Clogherhead harbour.
The cost of each is 200euro for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). 50 euro deposit is required to hold this stall and can be sent with the application form.
Stall holders will be allowed to drive onto the pier and are asked to be completely set up by 8.30am on each day and will be directed to the nearest carpark following set up. This is to allow a traffic management plan to come into operation.
There will not be electrical outputs available to stallholders.
Events on the pier will run until approximately 6pm each day but there will be a 2 hour grace period for crowds to enjoy the pier before it is cordoned off completely at 8pm. The pier will not be accessible to the public after this time and there will be 24 hour security in place for the entire weekend.
Stallholders may leave stalls overnight on the Saturday night if they wish but Clogherhead Prawn Festival does not accept responsibility for loss of any items.

    Therapists and Readers
A large marquee with flooring, Body and Soul Tent, will be located on the pier at Clogherhead harbour.
The cost to readers is 200 euro and therapists will be 150 euro for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). 50 euro deposit is required to hold this stall and can be sent with the application form. Tables are in 2 sizes, 2ftx 2ft or 4ftx2ft, and table covers and chairs are provided. Please indicate which size you require on application form.
Stall holders will be allowed to drive onto the pier and are asked to be completely set up by 8.30am on each day and will be directed to the nearest carpark following set up. This is to allow a traffic management plan to come into operation.
There will not be electrical outputs available to stallholders.

    DIRECTIONS TO VILLAGE
Coming from the M1- Take exit 12, marked Dunleer, approx. 10 mile North of Drogheda. At bottom of ramp turn right. Go to end of road and turn left, (Signposted Dunleer). Enter Dunleer village and take the first turn to the Right (there is a large hardware store, Wogans, at this turn) and it’s signposted for Clogherhead. Follow this road approx 7km. You will come to a large pub , Doherty’s, and continue around this sharp bend to the right. Follow the road about a ½ mile , you will cross over a humpbacked bridge and just after this there is a road to your left, signposted for Clogherhead. This will take you directly into the village of Clogherhead.
Once in the village Main street take the first turn to your left about half way down(Harbour road) and this will take you directly to the harbour. There will be plenty of signs to direct you in the village.
Don’t forget to admire the fantastic views across the bay as you descend into the harbour!!!!

If you require any more information do not hesitate to contact myself, Orla Carroll, (087)2797901 for more details.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Yeah, I looked at your homepage and realised you literaly live around the corner. Had to ask who you were, then saw Deirdres light on facebook and pmd her:rotfl:
She had been asking a few weeks ago about fairs to sell her books at and of course i told her !! But she didnt say anything about your baby stuff!!!
Im doing ok at the min, Its great craic at the fairs and I have made loads of friends.....watch the ones on here they are a bit nuts:rotfl:(im joking ladies)
I really do love the bear, its fantastic:T!!

I know your daughter (i think) did she go back to america to live??
Does your hubby sell his stuff to our local shop???......me thinks he made my patio table/seat thing....its a good job...fits 8 and was actually really reasonable!!

Hello. Yes, my daughter remembers you as well. You use to drive cabs? She says to tell you hello! No hubby doesn't sell them to any shops, but has sold to the Bright Golf Club and others ( a huge hexagon table that had to be lifted by a crain lol) I asked him if he sold to anyone in Ardglass, he doesn't remember, but doesn't think so. His are so heavy duty, that will last forever! lol. Yes, you are around the corner, would love to get together and have a coffee sometime! I have been a loner basically since I came here 8 years ago (ran into to many anti american ppl- they must think we all voted in Bush! lol). As far as Deirdre saying nothing to you, probably because I refused to do craft fairs - but had a change of heart. I was doing everything as gifts for Xmas and whatever else. But, may as well get paid for the effort right? Any how, if you'd like to get together, pm you number, and we will get together.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the word!;)
