Ok, answering in order, yes it's a money saving site, no it's not a clique that keeps money saving advice people out (how could it - it's a free forum!) and yes it is a real crafters site as opposed to a market trading site! The thread is updated as folk add to it - if you add an event the instructions are on page 1 ie copy and paste the last thread to your reply and add in your event. If you are new and not yet allowed to post threads say so in the post advertising your event and someone else will do it for you - simples! There is admittedly quite a lot of banter between the thread but anyone looking for events should not have to scroll for more than a page or two to find it. At the end of the day we are a forum - not solely an information page so the banter is expected and very welcome as us crafters thrive on knowing what to expect at an event, feedback from events and sometimes just silliness to know we're not alone thinking we're totally mad preparing for events!! I've been on here for quite a while but newbies are just as welcome as old crocs! Please enter into the spirit of it and chill out!! What is your craft by the way?Life's a box of beads - rainbow coloured and full of surprises!:D0

            Today went so well!!
I am so proud of my little girl.....she sang, she done her reading then she had other parts....reading a peom whilst the offetry procession was taking place...I was so surprised at how much she had to do!!
Her dad done exceptionally well too....he spoke out 5/6 times asking the priest why and where was jesus!! He started to swear but we were able to divert his attention to something else!
Adam was brilliant at keeping his daddy quiet....he said that he would just take him out if he started to swear.....(adams communion was horrid.....for adam....the priest said the lord be with you....DHs reply was and also with you motherf*****! Adam cried i was so upset for him and the priest just continued! Then came over after the mass and told adam that it was fine and daddy says things that he doesnt mean!!
But a sucessful day!! We are exhausted!! BUT....I got a present too frankie boyle tickets for next week in dublin!! (apparently I have been under SO much pressure recently its about time I had a laugh)
So glad fairs went well today!!
The weather was FANTASTIC!!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I post in the wrong place!! I'm organising a craft fair on 19th June in Conlig, Co.down in the church hall. I'm looking for any of you that would like to purchase a stall.
I'm still putting the details together so anything you need to know just ask. I work for Praxis in a respite unit in Conlig for children with disabilities and we're hoping to raise some much needed funds for equipment. I'd welcome any advice / suggestions from all of you. I'm hoping to get a good mix of crafters at it. Let me know what else you all need to know about it. I haven't decided on the price of the stalls yet so any ideas oin that are most welcome. You can contact me through here or email me: ingyell@hotmail.co.uk
