  • Hi, I'm new to doing craft fairs but I'm doing Regent House (my 1st one, so a bit scared!) and Belmont in April...can anyone give any practical advice on how much stock to bring?

I make sock monkeys and sock monsters (decorative stuff, not really meant as toys cos of small buttons and embellishments) and i was wondering what kind of percentage of stock do you sell? Haven't much of a clue cos it's hard to guess if folks will like them (my friends do, but then they have to say that, LOL!!).

The Belmont one is terrifying me, all the photos on their website of tables are so professional looking & really fab stuff (think I'll be spending any cash I make at that one!!!)

Hi all, just back from my fundraising meeting tables are approx 8 feet long, will get exact measurement for you all. We are def getting coverage in the Belfast Telegraph, trying to get sponsorship from some major companies in the area, so there will be plenty of advertisement. Craft fair from 1-6 and you can set up anytime from 11 am. I hope this helps, if you need any more info please let me know.

Fi, lorne house is the headquarters for girlguides in northern ireland - its in Cultra, down beside Royal Belfast Gold Club off the Belfast Bangor Road. There is a large main house and they also use other buildings for the fair - is pretty well attended too, and well advertised.
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T
