Full year of Bankruptcy is over for me - Huge thanks to everyone!

Well it's been one year since I was declared bankrupt and today I am officially discharged. Most of the year has flown by but the last few months dragged a bit when I started to see so many people (some who went bankrupt months after me) get early discharge. Although I was pleased for them, I started to feel a little depressed as I wanted to close this chapter of my life. It doesn't matter now though. I served my full sentence and can now join the many others who went before me.
I just wanted to say a HUGE THANKS to all the many people that answered my questions and answered questions for others which also helped me. I was in a very dark place this time last year and I honestly don't think I could have made it through without all your help. There are some genuine life savers on here and they probably don't even know it.

Congratulations DVS - I know what you mean about people getting discharged before you - I also went the full 12 months. Anyway no matter what date you are discharged it is 6 years from date of BR that it falls off the credit file. I'm just thankful I didn't have any changes of circumstances to report that could have led to IPA and grateful that I didn't receive any inheritance during that period either!
