*Kids Omega-3 capsules*

Cheapest I've seen is £3.99 for 30! Does anyone know if anyone can beat that?

My 3 year old has eczema and I'm going to give these a go.

    These cost 13p each
Zipvit are £7.95 for 120 6.6p each and £21.95/360=6p each.
However I don't know about the ones you've seen but Zipvits aren't in my opinion worth bothering with.Zipvit don't say how much omega 3 EPA + DHA is in them so you can take it for granted that it's minimal.

I would suggest if you want an effective amount of omega3 you would be best advised to forget about the chewable kids types, as they contain very little omega but aspartame sweetener & hydrogenated fats
Zipvits Omega Juice is worth taking if you don't mind the taste.
Healthspans St Clements also has a worthwhile amount of omega 3 and tastes much better or so I've been told.

I buy the Haliborange ones, usually on 3 for 2 in boots (+adv points)

Tried Eye Q but made my children sick as they disliked it. There are lots of types on the market, I think Holland and Barrett have an offer on their own at the moment.

Anything with 320/240mg of EPA/DHA is classed as high concentration, but there are other factors to be wary of if children are sensitive to other ingredients.

I know of some people with eczema who have had success with flax oil, unsure what amounts are suitable/recommended for children.
One day I might be more organised...........

    2 of these contain
    Omega-3 =228 mg of which DHA 200mg EPA 28mg
plus mannitol, aspartame and hydrogenated vegetable oil,

To achieve the Benefits of the Durham Trial and the new Australian trial you would need over twice this amount but because these tabs contain 100% RDA of vitamin A you must not take more that the stated dose.

The reason the clever Milk adds were pulled was precisely because if you know that 550mg of omega is effective for children you cannot from that deduce that a fraction of 550mg will produce the same results. While I and no doubt Winston would say but every little helps towards achieving an effective total amount, it still doesn't seem cost effective to use chewable low strength when alternative liquid forms supply amounts that are demonstably effective for less money.
