Some good offers left, but all the profit must be in the £25 (yes - TWENTY FIVE POUNDS) delivery charge, for items which most couriers would ship for a few quid).
Think I'll give it a miss for now.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • note a lot of those items aren't available - just put about 12 items in the basket, only 3 of which I was able to buy (so I didn't bother). Thanks M&S, nice stock system..

I spent ages going through all the pages ... only to find that the £10 off code wasn't being accepted .... had to go through a link on the 'online discount voucher' thread. Basket was empty, so had to go through it all again to add the items again .... got to check out, and my order was £140 something when it should have been £70 something ??? everything had been duplicated ::) took ages to delete stuff >:( anyhoo, everything I ordered was in stock ... very lucky, got the £10 off too ;D will have to see if they turn up on time. :-/ Have to say, the M&S website is a pain in the rear, everytime you clicked on an item, had a look, then clicked back ... you had to re-type sale into the sale section again etc etc, ended up just copying short cut and pasting it into another window to have a look ::)
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

Ally, you are a total lifesaver. I did exactly what you did, with the same problem trying to page back after adding an item, then discovered that I couldn't use the code. It was about 11.30 pm, and it being the last day for the promotion, I thought I'd just better submit the order and email them asking them to add the code on afterwards for me, pointing out that it was well before midnight when I placed my order.

Well, by the time I'd done all that and come back here to grumble about it, I saw your post and panicked, because I realised they probably wouldn't accept the code itself as I needed to go through the special link to get the discount applied.

Well, you've never seen anybody type so fast - I nearly gave myself a heart attack trying to do a new order in the last 10 minutes before midnight. Actually I needn't have bothered, because the code was already in the system before I started filling my basket again, but I was too panicked to realise that, (or risk it), at the time!

As it happened, I was able to do it quite quickly by opening two browser windows and copying the product codes from the first order into the search box in the 2nd window. Thank goodness the order shows up on the system straight away. Thank goodness as well that the delete function is disabled until the order is fully processed onto the system, otherwise I would have deleted it in a panic and then not stood a hope in hell of finding all the items again in time.

It was also lucky that none of the items I'd managed to actually order had gone out of stock between the two orders either.

It's great when it works, isn't it!? :D

    I ordered:

Round Bottom Carafe And Glass - UPC: 01044959 - £2
Suede Pull On Trainers (girls') - UPC: 01323078 - £3
Limited Collection Country Style Shirt - UPC: 01396928 - £12
    Rose Border Scarf - UPC: 02350424 - £5
    Sport Pump (girls') - UPC: 02735689 - £3
    Glitter Sleeveless Top - UPC: 03585832 - £3
    Glitter Animal Scarf - UPC: 06319892 - £5
    Tabletop Wok - UPC: 07027482 - 2 @ £3
    Night Owl Mini Shirt - UPC: 07281624 - £5
    Toast Coasters - UPC: 08294333 - £2
    Toast Placemats - UPC: 08282897 - £3
    Nolita Tote Bag - UPC: 08341075 - £5
    Sphere Table Lamp - UPC: 08428936 - £2
    Cocktail Recipe Coasters - UPC: 09387188 - £2
    Plain Joggers - UPC: 09530515 - £5
    Cotton Stripe Bag - UPC: 09575202 - £3

The joggers and mini night shirt are for my daughter if she works hard at her Y9 SATs, the two scarves are for my sister as an extremely late birthday present, the bags are for my kids to give me for Christmas and birthday 2005 (their dads are crap at helping them to buy presents for me!), the trainers and sports pumps are for my 6 year old, who always needs such things, the top and the shirt are for me, because I never buy clothes, the breakfast coasters and placemats are to make the children laugh next Christmas, and the other bits are for random Christmas presents for family and friends.

I spent £59.50, including p&p and including the £10 discount.

Thanks so much for thinking to post about the special link, I would never have remembered it otherwise. I saved me a happy tenner, and made me feel a lot more justified about spending the money on things we don't immediately need. But then I'm an old skinflint, and never buy things for myself, normally.

I hope the glittery top is nice, because I've been looking for something cheap but attractive to go over black trousers on the rare occasions I get done up and go out.

All I have to do now is remember to make sure the original order has been cancelled tomorrow. I did email customer service to ask them to disregard my previous email, and asking whether they'd delete the first order for me, as the delete option hadn't come up yet.

Thank you thank you thank you again! ;D

Yep, that was a right royal pain until I realised I could right-click on the link, instead of left-clicking it, select 'open in new window', then close the 2nd window again when I was done.

Works a treat, until you inevitably get your fingers muddled up and have to go back to the begining again - but not nearly as bad as having to go back to the begining each time!
    :)

    No...it's just you ;D

I'm kidding, I LOVE seeing what other people bought!!! Not just here either. I'm fascinated by what other people have in their trolleys at Tesco too, and when someone's bought the same thing as I have it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I REALLY need to get out more ;D

    Now here's a good one.

Ohhhh especially full trollies. They fascinate me.

And it is a bonus if you see people buying the same as you. It proves you've got a bargain probably?

    ;D
