And it's an unsecured loan?

Ryan..........yet another thread regarding escaping the debt you are in. Please either seek professional help from the CCCS/Payplan and/or take some responsibility for the mess you have got yourself in. I feel most frustrated that there are people on these forums with real problems and yet you feel that you are exempt from paying back your debts.
Apologies if this offends and it's not often I speak this strongly but I've read many of your threads and they all seem very self indulgent.Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
Can I just why you are so curious about this?
I haven't read any of your threads but having done a quick search, you seemed straped for cash and, with you asking this question, I really hope that I am putting 2 and 2 together and getting 22.
If the answer is nearer to 4 then can I please ask that you stop for 1 minute and think of the consequences......I would far rather my son talked to me about his situation then me having no-one to answer the questions that I know I would have, if I were your mum.2014 Target;

Agree with the above comments but to answer your question, no the debt cannot be passed onto anyone else. The bank will have to take the loss.0

I am just curious. that is all. I'm not about to die or fake my own death!! I just want to know how banks cover costs. They must build it into their profit model. People die in car crashes and stuff all the time.
Again - this is a hypothetical question that has nothing to do with my situation0 -

Please take the advice that has been offered to you, there are many people on this site who have been where you been or are still currently going through what you are going through.
I understand from your previous post that you feel that you can not give up your studying. However I strongly advise that you rethink your whole situation before you make or take any drastic actions that you will regret later on.
However people are becoming frustrated with your questions especially when you have already made up your mind on what action you are going to take. There are people here that are willing to offer you help and advice but you have to be open and willing to listen. It may not be what you want to hear but no one on this site will give you advice that would adversely affect or make your situation worse.
Seek help, as suggested by mountainofdebt speak to cccs, payplan, cab...
Much worse than leaving your parents with your debt you will be leaving them without a son... no debt can quantify that....MFWB

Forgive me if I'm wrong but, are you just winding us up?0 -

Please don't think I was harsh in my posting, but only today I read a thread from you asking whether banks honour cheque guarantee payments if you are above your overdraft and this was for the sum of £12.00.
I genuinely feel for you if you are in a desperate situation, but I struggle when your posts intimate that you will be declaring yourself bankrupt and/or emigrating and leaving your debts behind for the taxpayer to meet without any attempt to pay them back.
As $17mma stated, there are lots of caring people on here who would be willing to support you, but you need to start by helping yourself........Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -

Jeez. Read the sentenece and the actual words in it.

Just as I suspected:
Ryan.Maloney = Wind Up Merchant
I've suspected this through most of your posts and threads Ryan, I think you are just trying to get a 'rise' out of us.0 -
They write it off Ryan, assuming it's not recoverable from your estate/belongings. Debts cannot be passed to other people, not even husband/wife unless they're on the credit agreement together.
15k isn't very much for someone to kill themselves for I have to say. With the current trend of bankcruptcies, even 80k isn't alot. No amount is worth a life, and I couldn't care less either way.
