Dividend from US Shares

I've some shares in a US company which are held by Citigroup at their Chicago office.

I want to verify that I am correctly handling the annual dividend payment in respect of UK tax liability.

Suggestions on good sources of information and help me would be appreciated.

You must report your overseas income on the foreign pages of your tax return.

What CB says is correct but, if the total foreign dividends amount to £300 or less, you can just enter them on the main Tax Return, page TR3, box 5, without the need to complete the foreign income supplementary pages

Does the foreign dividends esp. from US, already have tax deducted in US and then paid?

I've got few American Shares in ISa...I don't know whether I need to declare them in tax returns.

Don't ask me if this advice works as I have more or less given up foreign share holdings.
