Confused !! Santander APR rate.
Hi.
I am looking for a loan, I bank with Alliance and leicester.
The Alliance and leicester home site states all loans are through Abbey national , also part of santander.
When I use the online calculator i am offered a rate of 14.9% Apr ( dependant on circumstances).
When i go to the abbey site I get an APR of 9.4 % Apr. This is for existing customers only.
Will i qualify for the Abbey rate? They are after all the lenders and part of the same company.
I rang the number off the alliance and leicester site. The sales guy could not answer.

theres probably some confusion atm as all santander brands will trade as santander from the new year0
