Loan not on my credit file?

i have checked my experian credit file and a loan with my bank taken out in 2007 which im paying until 2011 is not on there???

Is there a reason for this, as it is with a high street bank and i have been paying dd every month?

Was it taken out in joint names? I have found that if this is the case, it will sometimes only appear on one credit file and not the other.

I've heard it on here that not all institutions report to all three credit agencies. Maybe it'll show on the other two but not Experian?

Which bank is it, that might shed some light on it.
