Hello,
Just wondered if anyone has purchased one of these and if they have it useful?
Thanks!

I would be interested to hear about this as well. I had one some years ago which fell apart as soon as I threw the guarantee away and mostly poured water down my sleeves, but I notice there are others on the market now.
Toothsmith - they make all sorts of claims for gum health etc. Are they any good? IYHO would you recommend them?

They're good if you use them.
You could probably get just as good result from spending more time with a toothbrush and interdental brushes like tepes.
The thing about spending money on a gadget though is that people then tend to spend time with it (Until the novelty wears off at least) they see good results, and think it's the machine. In fact, it's probably the TIME - not the gaget!
So - yes it will work, but so would spending equivalent time with cheaper stuff. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
I have one and like it.
I enjoy brushing my teeth though. I use it AFTER my new interdental brushes. I particularly like to use it with mouthwash. I'm a bit wary though, as I get confused over which mouth washes are ''bad''.0 -
Ones with alcohol in I would steer clear of, ones with Chlorhexidine I wouldn't use as they can stain your teeth. My faves for everyday use are Fluoriguard, Fluoriguard and at a push, warm salty water.0

I love mine. I don't use it every day (although probably should) but my teeth feel really clean when I do use it.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
