I need extra sleeping space for kids's sleepovers and thought of buying one of those foam mattresses which folds up into a chair shaped thingy.
they are not keen on blow up beds as they are not very comfy.
argos have them for £50 but the reviews are mixed. can anyone recomment one?
thanks

Hi clarehi. I bought one off ebay from these people a while ago. They have their own website as well but bizzarly they are cheaper on ebay. is this the sort of thing you want?

I will say they are great even for adults to sit on and plenty thick, however my husband tried to sleep on it once and fell off it as it is quite narrow. Ok for kids though!0 -
i got the double version off ebay (same as twinkle put the link to) and have to say its more than adequate for occasional sleeping, dh and i have shared it and slept well, much better than we did on a blowup
ds uses it as a sofa in his room and its comfy for that too, it tucks neatly under his cabin bed as it doesnt have arms etc,

thanks guys,
drat the seller is away until 4th Jan and I was hoping to pick one up in time for xmas (yes I know should have planned ahead!)
cheers anyway C x0 -
yes, very comfy except for tall adults. too short and you just roll off, would not advise using as sofa, back far too short, very unsuportive. ours is used every christmas for a few days when brother comes to stay, he doesnt complain!
Dont forget argos have there voucher deal back.
hthis officially a GLEEK0 -
I had a chair bed from argos for years, only just got rid of it as it was musty- our house is old and can be damp, plus I used it in the garden in the summer on damp grass... oops
- we never had any problems with it, comfy and great as it folds up. Would recommend!

We have one of these, great for sleepovers - much better than inflateable beds!
However I would say they are not much good as chairs when folded up (except for very light, small children) as they sag so much. But as a mattress perfectly comfy and the chair aspect at least means you can store them neatly!0 -
We had one of these and they worked very well, perfect for small rooms.
