Free Office Software Suite

SoftMaker is offering free downloads (58MB) of their 2008 Office Suite. Includes a Word Processor, a SpreadSheet, and a Presentation Maker. Excellent alternative (I have used it for months (bought it from Ashampoo) and have found it to compare very well with Micro$oft Office (I don't think this includes Access though). Plus they give money to charity for every download! [It seems I am considered a Newbee so you will have to cut and paste - well worth the effort though! Sorry]

If a database and / or drawing / org chart package is required, these are included in Open Office (along with the usual word processor, spreadsheet and presentation packages). Open Office is also compatible with Microsoft Office and, like SoftMaker, is totally free to download and use (but doesn't give contributions to charity).
