I have been declined for a £12,000 loan from my bank natwest who have told me this is because of my credit score, so I payed for my score from experian which gave me a score of 912 out 999 so is this not good? Anyway I have just applied for the same loan with Tesco thinking that I might get lucky and also got declined because of my score.
Could Experian get my score wrong or do you need a score of 999 to get a loan?

Your score with Experian carries no weight with lenders. They each have their own set of criteria.0

thanks for the quick reply, so basically I have just wasted £12 on my credit report and score and had another search done on my file.0

I was told after that they used equifax, so must be something not right with my score with them.0

One is a credit referencing agency, the other is a travel booking site!
You must mean Equifax. Don't forget Callcredit as well.0 -

The report is worth having, the score is a waste of money. It takes no account of such things as income.0 -

Who would you recommend trying?0

Try using someone that will search Experian. List on link below.

Although be aware the amount you are asking for is quite a bit to get unsecured at the moment. Also consider your other debt commitments and affordability
Good luck!0
