Can anyone personally recommend a caring EMI nursing home in the greater Belfast or north Down areas?

While a list of homes is easy enough to get, there is nothing like having a personal recommendation from someone linked to a relative or friend in such a home. With the stress already associated with having a relative suffering from EMI-type dementia, any help to identify a caring home would be greatly appreciated.

beverley lodge in bangor always had a good name ,look for smaller privately owned homes, visit homes out of hours ,evenings and saturdays are good as you will see work in progress and meet relatives ,ask about staff patient ratios, trained staff/auxillary staff ratio, special diets ,medical provision, unfortunately with the nature of the illness, common sense can be as good a guide, smells ,overbearing music high levels of agitation can be as good a guide hope this helps
