Cabot & CCS full and final settlement

Hi. Hope someone can help.
I’m helping someone who has two small debts that were originally 900 to Barclaycard, 1000 to LloydsTSB.
The Barclaycard one has gone to Westcot and now to Cabot. The LTSB one has gone to Moorcroft, Midas and now CCS.
He is on JSA and really can’t afford any payment towards these. His Dad has offered to pay them off if I can negotiate ‘full and final settlement’ deals. How much will these debts now be worth to the companies that hold them? Any ideas or experience of what sort of offer might be accepted?
