When do the sales start and what are the offers?

I was looking at M & S website yesterday for a phonhe number and noticed the shops are shut on the 26th so looks like no sale on boxing day. Has anyone heard anything different.

I got an email from Hewlett Packard (hp.com). Their sale has started with certain deals and accessories upto 50% off, and free delivery.

Does anyone know any sale details for furniture stores (any at all?) I'm after some living room furniture (TV cabinet, sideboard, bookcase, coffee/occasional table, preferably matching but not essential!) and have been holding off until after Christmas anticipating the sales.

I've been browsing Argos and seen a few things I like, does Ikea "do" sales as well? And anywhere else?

anyone know when the topshop sale is?
i've been in today and although they have accessories and some clothes - i'm thinking there has to be more. Someone told me they have theirs on christmas eve? can anyone confirm this??
