When do the sales start and what are the offers?

I was in Jessops today and was told their sale has started - the camera that the SA put away for me on wednesday at £159 was £99 today when I went to pay and collect.:j:j

Hi M@S sale is deffo starting on sunday 27th, check individual stores for opening hours but sunday trading laws are restricting normal sale opening hours, so be prepared for absolute carnage on day 1, a normal first day of sale would be a 12 hour day, maybe longer for M&S but this year its only 6 hours, so as you can imagine the same amount of people thru the doors but in under half the time!!!!

Some great bargains to be had though.

matalan is defo xmas eve-i work there and the pink stripes defo means the items are in the sale, alot of stuff is going to be in it-i'm waiting till xmas eve! feel bad for the customers i was serving today knowing that everything they were buying is going to be reduced in a few days!

My store's hours are 11-5
Online probably starts midnight on Saturday night.

Hi, could you tell me if the pretty little chest jewelry box will be in the sale, sorry I dont know what it's called, it's a cream colour with gold feet I think and roughly £18, we haven't got a matalan near to us, but prepared to drive to hopefully get one if they will be in the sale, thanks.

Think D.P's sale is monday (think someone else mentioned it elsewhere) I have a sneaky feeling Topshop's sale is Xmas eve- can anyone confirm? its just that I remember them starting Xmas eve last year and wouldn't be suprized if they did the same this year.

Kookai have up to 50% off
Miss Selfridge up to 50% off
Kurt Geiger up to 50% off (last week was only 40% so its gone up)
French Connection have reductions
Gap have offers on jumpers (£25) and acessories (£15) and some hats were £10 but nothing major, just around 30%ish reductions
