£750-1000 loan short term

Hi I'm a recent graduate and have a graduate account with natwest. I'm moving to a new flat in January for my new
job. I'm going to have a cash flow problem and need a short
term loan of £1000. I applied for a graduate loan through natwest and it was
rejected due to my credit score. I'm 21 and don't have any CCs and I've never been in money problems before. I'm just reaching my
overdraft limit.
What's the cheapest way to get a loan of £1000 or would a CC be the right route of action? Will they give someone who's never had a CC a £1k limit?
Many thanks

A credit card would probably be better, depends on interest rates really.
When you say low credit score, do you mean inexistant ?Originally Posted by Dr Cuckoo3

your new employer should front you the money as its work related.

Employer won't forward money. With regards to my credit rating it may be ziltch but I've had a phone contract for 3 1/2 years plus a few direct debits like sky etc0
