Mortgage advice

Hi there,
Im looking for some general advice regarding mortgages. (I do apologise if I sound a bit blonde lol).
My boyfriend and I are thinking of getting a mortgage together, although we have a few issues…..
1) I have quite a large deposit ~80k and he has none
2) He was made redundant in sep but now has temp work
My questions are….
We wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage together if he does not have a permanent job?
We are looking at a mortgage, max 150k, we currently pay £400/moth rent, do you think I would be able to get a mortgage on my own?
I have 45k savings in an egg 3.25% account - I dont know whether i should just keep continuing to save and wait until i have more saved and my b/f hopefully a permanent job.

What is your gross guaranteed annual income - what other income do you have (tax credits, child allowance, overtime etc) ?
Just for clarity - why 45K in deposit account but 85K deposit ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I earn 17k per annum - very rarely do OT. Outgoing is mainly rent £400/month. no tax creds, child allowance, etc.
I have the 80k, in various accounts but have 45k in egg as its paying the most interest for a savings account. Dont want over 50k in any one account for obvious reasons.0
