M&S hampers 50% off

Well, touch wood that my local M + S have some hampers in stock as I just got a call from John Lewis telling me that the order I made on 22/11 has been cancelled due to a "stock disparity"!

Good news is they will be giving me £30 for the trouble, so if I can find a decent half price one instore, I might actually be in profit!:j

Well you have done better than me - ordered one to be delivered to my Mum from Debenhams only to be told TODAY at 3pm that they did not have any stock and all they offered me was free delivery if I wanted to order something else :mad:

Very unimpressed !!! had I realised I would have ordered from someone else in time.

Only good news is my M&S hamper has been dispatched today for tomorrow.

I dont think M&S are very good with orders. It always annoys me when theres a sale on and you add something to your basket and within seconds its taken out. Should stay in your basket for a certain amount of time before it takes it out ( like every website does) its crazy how you ment to buy things when every time you add something it comes out you basket within seconds they are shooting themselfs in the foot as it means less sales as you cant have a proper look at all the items for sale :mad:

Ordered the Paddington hamper for delivery today. Got a despatched email last night, and then this morning I've had an email to say

We're sorry to let you know that due to a technical error, the original Paddington hamper you ordered is no longer available for delivery. As we didn't want to let you down we have arranged for our Percy Pig hamper worth £20 to be delivered. This contains a large bag of Percy Pigs (340g), a ceramic percy pig money box, a sweetie bowl and a cake-making kit so they can make their own mini Percy Pig cupcakes. This is presented in a decorative Percy Pig box.

They've refunded some money and put a credit on my account, but a Percy hamper is the last thing I would have bought.

Another order that M&S have messed up for me this year.

i know how you feel !!! i tried to order the paddington bear set but it wouldent give a delivery date it said all dates were gone it only gave dates pre xmas !!!!
