5 year retirement plan advice

I am a 58 year old civil engineer working in construction on a final salary pension at present but looking to enhance my pension should this change.

I am looking to enhance my pension anyway.

I would like to invest £400 per month with the option of an annual lump sum.

What would be the best way to achieve this?

I have taken out an ISA and have some long term savings accounts.

That would depend on your tax position, accessbility requirements to the money now and in retirement, your risk profile and investmetn requirements.

I am on the higher rate tax bracket and can leave the money in the account for the 5 years. I can leave it longer but with no further contributions after the 5 years.
Medium to low risk profile
Looking to draw some interest or repayment in 2015 leaving the capital for withdrawal at some future time.
