  • I also have a load of cd singles and I think I'm going to stick them on ebay. There are no fees for starting an auction of up to 99p and as of the 8 February you no longer have to offer free p&p on cd's - you can charge up to £1 - http://sellerupdate.ebay.co.uk/april2010/free-shipping-replacement.html
So, I think i'll list all mine at 99p start and £1 postage and keep relisting them. I don't expect them to sell quickly but it won't cost me fees to list / relist.

    I found this site

    www.priceminister.co.uk

They let you list CD singles. I don't know how much traffic there is - I'd never heard of them before but I've just stuck a load of mine on so I'll see how it goes. If I don't get anything after a month, I think I'll just put mine on ebay for 50p or something just to get rid of them.

Its good free P+P has been scrapped, but i dont think you will sell a cd single on ebay with a £1.00 postage, it would not even cost that to post ??

If you serious about getting a decent price and are prepared to put in some time to list and sell individually, then try play.com

Just search for the item you want to sell, then follow the "Have one to sell? sell it here" link.

Most items have at least 1 used item for sale, often dozens. The used price depends on the condition of the CD, so if it's as new you should get a better price than one with a cracked and tatty case, for instance.

Worth investigating. I've been going through my old CD collection, and while most aren't worth much more than a quid, some appear to be rather rare gems. The cheaper ones are probaly not worth listing (music magpie instead?) but for the odd one that lists at £5+, go for it. Why not?

p.s. I just checked, and they let you sell CD singles too!
