Tesco Club Card points Mobile loophole??

Not sure if this has already been posted, or if I'm even in the right place?
I've just read last weeks newsletter so may not even apply.
You get 2000 points on mobiles purchased over £40, however if you spend over £50 on a Tesco Mobile, you get 1000 points as well as your double points.
So by my estimation on a Tesco Mobile Sony Ericsson W395 mobile phone Dusky Grey for £54.97 That would be:
2000 points for the code
1000 points for buying a tesco mobile over £50
and 108 Double.
A Grand Total of 3108, or £124.08 in rewards?, essentially making £75 roughly?
Then if you dont need the phone and can unlock them like My OH can do, you could take it to a trade in store and get £46 back for it, meaning you would make Over £110 back?
It sounds slightly unbelieveable, too good to be true?

Didn't work for me. Can't get the 2000 point code to work with Tesco Mobile phones. Only seems to work with branded ones.0

You only get the 2000 points for branded phones, with code. The 1000 is still available without code for any Tesco SIM mobile from the Samsung J700 upwards. It is priced at just over £40. Bulk limitations apply - you can buy up to five a month, and only one by one. When I tried to buy two in the same Basket online, I received a fail message a couple of hours later in my email.
The Broadband dongles also have 2000 points bonus with the code that was advertised here a few days ago. They were all sold out, but the Vodafone is available again at just under £30. I just bought one, and the code worked.0 -
codes dont work 4 me either, the dongles all sold outs nowSIMPLES!0

This is still working, I just ordered a Sony Ericsson 312 and got the 2000 extra points. I tried to order a second and got error message saying voucher code has reached redemption limit. Not sure if this limit is for me or in general. Will try again tomorrow and see if error gets reset.0

Hi all,
I'm looking to take advantage of the 2000 points offer as Mr Fresian's phone has been given the last rites by a two year old :rotfl:
He has a Vodafone sim-only deal, if I bought a handset for another network would he be able to pop in his sim card and continue using Vodafone?
Cheers!0 -
