Did anyone else have thunder & lightening with it too? We did & I'm sure I don't remember ever having it before with snow! Lancashire by the way
  • I'm in North Manchester and theres tons of it, plenty for snowmen, and more snow is meant to fall tonight. I have never been so scared driving, even the main roads are full of the slushy stuff that has turned to ice, no grit to be seen!

Had to drive up from Stoke On Trent earlier where they only have a few icy millimetres...that was a horrid drive...road closures, accidents etc...

Another dusting overnight, a bit more than yesterday. Then it rained, so we've either got puddles or slush. Lovely!

i'm s-w scotland too and all our schools are closed. Felt sorry for the wee one - it was her first little christmas party today and it was cancelled :o
  • Yes ! Been snowing non-stop since 10am really heavily :D Due to continue all day tomorrow as well.

Mum is starting to panic about buying all the food. It took her an hour to get out of a multi-storey car-park !
