decorating xmas baubles

I have some plain baubles and was thinking of decorating them, any ideas? What is the best thing to use regarding writing or drawing on them? many thanks x

Sharpie pens write nicely on baubles. I also got some small squeezy tubes from Hobbycraft that you cut off the end of the nozzle, then fill with your own pva glue. My Brownies then made a fine line and added glitter and sequins. We balanced the bauble on a milk bottle lid while decorating and drying.
