Stretch Mark Creams - the best?

Just a quick message to ask which stretch mark creams/oils are the best?

There's so much stuff out there on the market that promises to work wonders, I have no idea what to buy.

I have stretchmarks from rapid weight gain, then rapid weight loss, and was wondering what solutions anyone has used with positive effects? I know I can't rid myself of them completely, but would like to help reduce the way they look to something I can accept (in time!)

Thanks in advance x

I have some bio oil but so far seeing no results. I assume I should be using it daily really? Hmm.

Yep you need to really stick at it I think. I forget to use it a lot, but then I'm not really using it for stretch marks but to help prevent some damaged skin from scarring. Hope this helps

Bio Oil Never worked for me, I too gained weight and lost it quickly then had a baby. The Only thing that worked was PALMERS COCOA BUTTER STRETCH MARK LOTION, (it has a picture of a pregnant lady on it but I used it before I was pregnant.)

i work in boots at the baby dept (although im not goin to be biased lol) and the thing we sell the most of for stretch marks is the palmers cocoa butter as lyndach suggested and also the boots expert stretch mark oil - dont really sell much of the bio oil from my bit, unless people just get it at skincare instead??

    anyways hope this helps :D

also the sanctuary mum to be range seems to be really nice and they do a stretch mark oil.

I think even twice daily might be important.

I'm losing weight ATM, and trying to be religious about moisturising....I've got bio oil to use up and I use just ordinary dody moisturiser too, depending on mood, but will try palmers next. I'm hoping that keeping stuff well moisturised will help.
  • There is something called Re Gen Oil from Home & Bargains, it looks simliar to bio oil, its a white small box with orange writing, 75ml, its specialist treatment for stretch marks, scars, dry skin and blemishsed skin. ive not used it for stretch marks

ive been using it for dry skin, and id say its just as good or even better as bio oil and a lot cheaper at £2.45
