Really lovely easy DIY paper decoration idea

Hello,

I came across this on youtube and now I'm all excited and really want to make some! Its a paper snowflake just using paper and tape, she uses staples, but i think tape or glue would do there too. I dont have any white scrap paper but i'm going to try with some magazine pages, or spare bits of wrapping paper.

Im thinking tiny ones would make good decorations to tie onto presents too.

I love cheapy craft ideas!!

Let me know how you get on, i might post some pics when ive done mine!

:T I just made one of the big ones as well! It is really easy and fun to do, i was trying them out as i now have a new 'to do' activity for Christmas day for everyone to make their own, am going to try the smaller one now too. Thank you for posting this!

Update: Just made the little one, i made the first big one of out A4 paper and the smaller second one with the left overs from the first, i think its as small as you could do as even with this size the middle bits are a bit tricky but not undo-able, maybe you could make small though, but I'm happy with these ones. Did all mine with sellotape as well as i don't have any staples at the moment, seems to work out OK.

    Merry Christmas :0)

Thank you for showing us all. One lady @ my work place made theese for all the staff last year, unfortunatly on the day she gave them out I was off. You have guessed it, the one she left for me was never to be found and she did not make me another one . I no longer work there but can now make my own for this year, they look lovely.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
    Spring begins on 21st March.
  • A child in my class at school made one and brought it in to the class as a decoration. Looks really lovely!! He's going to make one for me to take home too!!
